What QuantEdge Terminal collects, who else processes it, and how to get it deleted. The short version: identity comes from Clerk, payment is handled entirely by Stripe so card details never touch our servers, and nothing is sold to anyone.

01Who is responsible for your data
QuantEdge Terminal is operated as a sole proprietorship by Ryder Garcia, an individual located in Hawaii, United States. That is the party responsible for the personal data described on this page, and the party you contact about it: ryderngarcia@gmail.com.
This policy explains what is collected when you use the Service, why, who else processes it, and what you can ask to have done with it.
02What is collected
Account and identity
Accounts are created and authenticated through Clerk, a third-party authentication provider. Clerk handles sign-up, sign-in, sessions, and passwords. Through Clerk the Service receives your email address, your Clerk user identifier, and any name or profile details you chose to provide, together with basic sign-in metadata such as when you last signed in. Passwords are managed by Clerk and are never visible to the operator.
Payment information
Payments are processed entirely by Stripe. When you subscribe, you enter your card details directly with Stripe.
Card details never reach our servers
The operator does not see, receive, transmit, or store your card number, expiry date, CVC, or full billing address. Those go straight to Stripe. What the Service stores is limited to non-sensitive references needed to run the subscription: your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, the subscription’s status, and its current period end date.
Usage data
To operate and improve the Service, the following may be recorded:
- your in-app preferences and saved settings, such as filters and watch settings;
- application and server logs — requests made, timestamps, IP address, browser user-agent, and errors encountered;
- aggregate product usage, such as which views are opened and how often, used to understand what to improve.
The odds data displayed in the Service is market data obtained from a licensed third-party odds provider. It is not personal data and it is not about you.
What is not collected
The Service does not collect wagering activity, sportsbook account credentials, sportsbook balances, or betting history, because it has no connection to any sportsbook account and no ability to place or observe bets. It does not sell personal data, and it does not share personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
03Why it is collected
Personal data is used only for these purposes:
- To provide the Service — create and authenticate your account, keep you signed in, and show you your own settings and history.
- To run billing — start a subscription, confirm it is active, gate access to paid features, and keep it in sync with Stripe.
- To provide support — answer the emails you send and investigate problems you report.
- To keep the Service working and secure — diagnose errors, detect abuse, and prevent unauthorised access.
- To meet legal obligations — including retaining transaction records for tax and accounting.
Your email address is used for service-related messages, such as billing notices and important changes to the Service. Marketing email is not sent without your consent, and any such message would include a way to unsubscribe.
04Who else processes your data
The Service is small and deliberately relies on established providers rather than handling sensitive data itself. Data is shared with these parties only so they can perform their function:
- Clerk — authentication and account management. Receives and stores your email address, credentials, and session data.
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management. Receives your payment details and billing information directly from you, and is the sole processor of card data.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — the platforms that run the website, the application server, and the database. They process data incidentally in the course of hosting it.
- Odds data provider — supplies the market data displayed. Your personal data is not sent to them.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data it holds. Personal data may also be disclosed where legally required — in response to valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of the operator or others. If the Service were ever sold or transferred, account data could transfer with it; you would be notified.
06How long data is kept
Account data is kept for as long as your account exists and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that a returning customer’s account still works and so that support questions about a recent subscription can be answered.
Transaction and invoice records are kept for as long as required by tax and accounting law, and are retained by Stripe under its own retention rules even after an account is deleted. Server logs are kept only as long as they are useful for debugging and security, and are rotated out in the ordinary course.
07Security
Traffic to and from the Service is encrypted in transit over HTTPS. Access to accounts is protected by Clerk’s authentication. Administrative access to production systems is restricted to the operator. Sensitive payment data is deliberately kept out of the Service’s own systems entirely by delegating it to Stripe, which is the single most effective security measure available to an operation this size.
No online service can promise perfect security, and no such promise is made here. You are responsible for keeping your own credentials secure. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, email ryderngarcia@gmail.com immediately.
08Your rights and how to request deletion
You may, at any time, ask to:
- see what personal data is held about you;
- correct anything inaccurate;
- have your account and associated personal data deleted;
- receive a copy of the data you provided in a portable format;
- object to or restrict a particular use of your data, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it.
Depending on where you live, some of these may be legal rights (for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR); they are offered to everyone regardless. Exercising them will never result in worse service or a different price.
To request deletion
- Cancel your subscription first, from the billing page, so that no further charge is made.
- Email ryderngarcia@gmail.com from the address on your account, asking for deletion.
- Your account and its associated personal data will be deleted from the Service and from Clerk, normally within 30 days. You will receive an email confirming it is done.
Records that must be kept for legal, tax, or accounting reasons — principally payment and invoice records held by Stripe — cannot be deleted on request and will be retained for the period the law requires. Deleting your account ends your access to the Service.
09Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18 and accounts may not be created by minors. Personal data is not knowingly collected from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, email ryderngarcia@gmail.com and the account and its data will be removed.
10Where your data is processed
The Service and its providers operate from the United States, so personal data is processed and stored in the United States. If you use the Service from another country, you understand that your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
11Changes to this policy and contact
This policy may be updated. The current version is always published on this page with the date it was last updated, and material changes will be notified by email to the address on your account.
For any privacy question or request, email ryderngarcia@gmail.com. Expected response times are on the contact page.
